How to Get Oxycodone Out of Your System There are a few things that might help slightly speed up how quickly oxycodone is processed and eliminated from your system.   The first step is to stop taking the drug; however, you should never stop taking your medication without first talking to your doctor. Because oxycodone can lead to physical dependence, you may experience symptoms of opioid withdrawal if you stop taking it suddenly. Symptoms of Overdose Knowing how long oxycodone remains in your system is important because of the threat of overdose and dangerous interactions with alcohol and other medications. If you take more of the drug to relieve pain after the effects of your last dose wear off but before the drug is out of your system, you increase your risk of an overdose. The tutorial gives a brief introduction to the PicoBlaze microcontroller, and then steps through the following: †¢ †¢ †¢ †¢ Writing a small PicoBlaze assembly language (. psm) file, and stepping through the process of assembling the . psm file using KCPSM3. Writing a top level VHDL module to connect the PicoBlaze microcontroller (KCPSM3 component) and the program ROM, and to connect the required input and output ports. Connecting the top level module inputs and outputs to the switches, buttons and LEDs on the Spartan-3E board. Downloading the program to the Spartan-3E board using the Project Navigator software. 1. 1 Design Functionality The code written in this tutorial reads the values of the four switches and the four push buttons, and displays the current values on the eight LEDS. 1. 2 Relevant Documentation Before commencing this tutorial, it would be helpful to download the Spartan-3E FPGA Starter Kit Board User Guide [1], and the PicoBlaze 8-bit Embedded Microcontroller User Guide [2]. 1. Pre-requisite Knowledge Before commencing this tutorial, the user should work through â€Å"The Spartan-3E Tutorial 1: Introduction to FGPA Programming† [3]. 1. 4 Scope This tutorial is designed to help the user who is just starting to â€Å"get into† using the PicoBlaze with the Spartan-3E. It steps through the process of creating a very simple PicoBlaze program, running the assembler, putting the VHDL components together in Project Navigator, and downloading the final program to the board. It is not designed to be a tutorial on VHDL syntax or to provide detailed information on the PicoBlaze. For help with VHDL, the user can consult with a number of textbooks on the subject, such as [4,5], or find help online. The book by Chu [6] is also a useful reference for the Spartan-3 with many useful examples. Reference designs for the Spartan-3E can also be found here [7]. For detailed information about the features and instruction set of the PicoBlaze, the user can consult the documentation in [2,8]. Version 14. 3 was used in this tutorial, but older versions of the software can be used. The software can be downloaded with a free WebPack license from the Xilinx website, http://www. xilinx. com/. The user will need to register and log in. The Spartan-3E Starter Kit, including the Spartan-3E development board, power cable and USB cable for PC connection. The Spartan-3E development board is shown in Figure 2. 1. The Picoblaze 8-bit Microcontroller software. The software can be downloaded for free from the Xilinx website, http://www. xilinx. com/. Again the user will need to register and log in. If a 64-bit machine is being used, software which can run 32-bit DOS programs, such as DOSBox, will be needed to run the KCPSM3 executable. SW0-3 Xilinx Spartan-3E Project Navigator Version 14. 3 Tutorial 2: Introduction to Using the PicoBlaze Microcontroller 18 . 0 Background – The PicoBlaze Micocontroller The PicoBlaze is an 8-bit RISC microcontroller which is specifically designed and optimized for the Spartan-3 family. One of its main advantages is its small size, requiring only 96 FPGA slices. It is provided as a free, source-level VHDL file with royalty-free re-use within Xilinx FPGAs [2]. Figure 3. 1 shows that the PicoBlaze consists of two components. The KCPSM3 component provides the ALU, registers, scratchpad RAM etc. The Block Memory (Program) component stores the instructions to be executed. This typically consists of a Block RAM, of 1024 bytes in size. Figure 3. 1: PicoBlaze components [8]. The basic design process using the PicoBlaze follows the steps below: 1. A PicoBlaze program is written in assembly language. This file is given the extension . psm. 2. The KCPSM3 assembler is run on the . psm file, and a VHDL file (extension . vhd) which embeds the instructions in the Block Memory component, is output. The name of the . vhd file will be derived from the name of the . psm file, i. e. , if the . psm file is myprog. psm, then the . vhd file will be myprog. vhd. 3. The VHDL code for the Block Memory and KCPSM3 modules is loaded into Project Navigator. Further VHDL code will need to be written to connect the two modules and interface to the outside world. 4. The project is compiled using the Project Navigator Software, and ultimately downloaded to the Spartan-3E board (or other target hardware). Figures 3. 2 and 3. 3 show the VHDL component declarations for the KCPSM3 and Block Memory respectively. Note that the name of the Block Memory component is derived from the name of the original . psm file, i. e. , if the . psm file was myprog. psm, the Block Memory component will be called myprog. This can provide a convenient means to update the program without having to recompile the VHDL code in Project Navigator. This is not covered by this introductory tutorial, and the user can refer to documentation such as [3] for more information. If you are using a 64-bit machine and attempt to run KCPMS3 in a DOS Command Prompt window, the error message shown in Figure 4. 8 will appear. One way to work around this and run KCPSM3 is to use the DOSbox software, which can be downloaded from http://www. dosbox. com/. 1. Download and run DOSBox. 2. Mount the working directory and change into this directory. When DOSbox is started up, a command window which resembles the DOS Command Prompt window appears. However, it is first necessary to mount the working directory to a drive letter before being able to enter this directory and run programs. This is done with the mount command: mount Figure 4. 9 shows the commands entered to mount and change into the working directory. In this case, the working directory is mounted as drive letter c. The command c: is then used to change into this directory. Macbeth, in its general form, entails the story of a subordinate, Macbeth, who thirsts for power and attempts at claiming the position by murdering King Duncan of Scotland. Whereas in the movie, a seeming parallel is easy to spot such as the situation wherein Joe Macbeth murders his boss Norm Duncan in order to finally relieve the latter from his rank and pass-on the title to Joe.The murder scene of the superiors in both the movie and the play appear in a similar fashion, at least in the context of the plot. However, Lieutenant Ernie McDuff is firmly convinced that there is more to what has been made to be known from the case and is quite suspicious of the actions of Joe Mcbeth, having the unripe notion that perhaps the latter has a great deal to do with the mysterious death of Norm Duncan.In the original text of the play of Shakespeare, Duncan decided to spend the night in the castle after his visit which eventually led Lady Macbeth to hatch a plan to murder the King of Scotland. The primary reason behind this ploy from Lady Macbeth rests on the observation that Ma cbeth has the ambition of usurping the power off the hands of the king which amounts to the most effective way of achieving it—to murder the king and grant Macbeth the seat of the king. Eventually, the progression of the play reveals to us the situation wherein Duncan is murdered by Macbeth after following the scheme plotted by his wife in order to avoid the possibility of arriving at a conflicting situation wherein their guises are revealed to the public and to the authorities. While the case has been shrouded with obscurity, Macduff, however, remains suspicious towards the gestures of both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth yet keeps his suspicion to himself outside the knowledge of the public.These two scenes in the movie and the play respectively share the same light in the sense that both amplify the instance wherein the superior is murdered by the subordinate, aided in no small way by the careful schemes of their wives, in order to seize the position of authority off the hands of their leaders. The murder scene in the movie reflects one of the film’s crucial relationships with the text, such as that the scene interweaves the underlying plot similar to that in the play. Essentially, utmost importance must be given to the play primarily because it serves as the foreground upon which the murder motif in the movie is derived.The inclusion of the murder scene in the play is of utmost significance in order to bring into full observation the consequent similarities between the versions of the story. Without this scene, one can find it hard to lock together the subsequent themes and the interplay of characters with the movie’s progression. The movie itself would have taken another course in establishing the development of the story’s plot and the ensuing roles of the characters granted that the murder scene was excluded. Indeed, had it not been for the inclusion of the scene with regards to the grand scheme of the plot, one can hardly find any distinguishing similarities between Macbeth and Scotland, PA. It leaves little room for comparison, in obtaining the unifying parallels between the two, and in making the claim that the movie is indeed drawn from the main plot of the tragic play.The notable differences between the murder scene from the text and to that of the movie are the details involved in substantiating further the attributes of the characters. In the play, the specific roles of the characters by far stand-out as the most imminent distinguishing mark that sets it apart from its film remake and vice versa. Moreover, not only do these specific roles define the indicators of differences from the two, these roles also define and illustrate the very context of the setting upon which the characters take part. The very term â€Å"king† obviously leads us to a mental picture of a monarchy usually associated with the feudal times or during the years when political authority rests not on presidents or on any other modern forms of government. In the movie, the idea of a â€Å"king† is not explicitly portrayed in the persona of Duncan although semblances to that of someone in power or someone as the authority in the organization are manifested.These differences add up to the emphasis on the fact that Scotland, PA is no more than a remake of Shakespeare’s Macbeth although, apparently, the movie has its own unique sets of characters and settings in terms of specific roles and specific situational contexts. However, the general roles and situations in the murder scene both in the movie and in the play take us a step closer into the noticeable shades of likeness between the two.Moreover, these differences shed light on our understanding of the comparable elements in the movie and the play. As Scotland, PA has been filmed to reflect a more modern perception of the world in contrast to the high times of monarchy, Macbeth on the other hand has been specifically written so as to mirror th e context of the situation during the time it was written. These lead us to the understanding that, even though both works were years apart and even though the specific contexts upon which they operate are clearly defined by the society that the works replicate, there still remains an underlying correspondence between them through our comprehension of the general ideas involved in both works such as the plots of both Scotland, PA and Macbeth.The relationship that exists between the literary and the cinematic scenes can be summarized into the idea that the literary version of Macbeth reinforces the similar plot of the movie adaptation and that, conversely, the film reiterates the underlying themes in Macbeth. Both the literary and the movie murder scene correlate with one another inasmuch as one is to seek several parallel scenes that reinforce one from the other and conversely. It cannot be denied that the movie itself reflects in a large amount the general themes in the play and th at, correspondingly, the movie would have been entirely different or would not have been brought to the silver screens had it not been for Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Yet, it cannot also be denied that a modern translation of the play is clearly explicit in Scotland, PA thereby supporting the idea that a possible modern-day approach to the tragic play can be extracted from the movie, juxtaposing the elements of the literary work into the modern field of human comprehension.
